Several fantasy societies have the idea of "You keep what you kill" -- the Fremen in Dune, the Green Men in the John Carter stories, the Necro-somethings in Chronicles of Riddick.Darielhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13806327785685632058noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2513019539869706574.post-70771839000542996032012-07-30T00:25:20.463+08:002012-07-30T00:25:20.463+08:00Thanks for this. I'll use it in my fantasy world if you have no objection.

Outdated science is often a good source of ideas that's not quite fact or fiction. I got several good ideas from a medieval bestiary that (I think) Zac posted about a while ago.anarchisthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05546197561922726279noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2513019539869706574.post-29929415152549744542012-07-29T18:32:04.459+08:002012-07-29T18:32:04.459+08:00realistic post-ap! Especially the Mongols.

A group of guys who roll around compulsively conquering everything but also soak up genetic information from pretty much everywhere they go and then spread it around. The effect on the global gene-pool must have been enormous.pjamesstuarthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13288777018721199748noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2513019539869706574.post-4002666940916567612012-07-28T22:00:36.116+08:002012-07-28T22:00:36.116+08:00For a second there I thought you were talking abou...For a second there I thought you were talking about push bikes.
