Ditto for all the other editions of D&D, I believe.

Mike D: Cheers.

Frederic: As you can tell, I've not been exactly sprinting into action. Harder getting back into the swing of things that I expected.

Barking Alien: I have had a look at some Japanese TRPGs, but never played. I find it hard to find groups, to be honest.

Rachel: I wasn't really expecting it, I was just being ironical. ;)noismshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09933436762608669966noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2513019539869706574.post-15732012376750963142009-10-08T02:11:01.206+08:002009-10-08T02:11:01.206+08:00I'm not sure how you expected a simple change ...I'm not sure how you expected a simple change in language to affect your opinion of 4e.

But I'm glad you did give it another chance.Rachel Ghoulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04765944479141792643noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2513019539869706574.post-57704922796476566272009-10-06T21:51:40.802+08:002009-10-06T21:51:40.802+08:00Wow! I am green with envy!...or maybe born this way.

If you get a chance see if they have any Japanese RPGs. While many of the games we play is the US are translated over (D&D, GURPS), Japan often has additional supplements unique to their audience. In addition their own RPGs (or TRPGs as they tend to call them) have some very interesting ideas and mechanics.Adam Dicksteinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04840144928096089178noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2513019539869706574.post-40136351774171284732009-10-06T19:38:25.473+08:002009-10-06T19:38:25.473+08:00Congrats... now back to work!!Congrats... now back to work!!Frederichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12743222280166919750noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2513019539869706574.post-89927131132946400082009-10-05T19:39:40.421+08:002009-10-05T19:39:40.421+08:00Welcome back, and congratulations!Welcome back, and congratulations!Mike D.https://www.blogger.com/profile/13199531732115178349noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2513019539869706574.post-39480990917492558342009-10-05T19:21:21.543+08:002009-10-05T19:21:21.543+08:00My understanding is that the Japanese 4e books loo...My understanding is that the Japanese 4e books look exactly like the American ones (except for, y'know, being in Japanese), with the same art and layout.
