If ever there was thematic dissonance in a game...

If anything can save Changeling from drowning in its own pretentiousness it's Pendragon. Pendragon makes /everything/ better. IMO Greg Stafford had a zen master moment when he took BRP, infused it with the might of his transformative brain juices, and created that wonderful game. (">Greg Stafford, yesterday)

Personal opinion: Any fule kno Fey in the WoD are really nothing like the ones in Changeling. WoD fey are nightmarish creatures of horror based on Leprechaun, Pan's Labyrinth and the Brothers Grimm.

But then I think WoD was never truly worth the time until Frank pruned it down to aWoD (WoD - WW system, +SR4).

wv: rameniin - ancient oriental rice (noodle) spiritsChrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04072272223837426211noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2513019539869706574.post-37389052271092885932010-02-23T19:14:49.267+08:002010-02-23T19:14:49.267+08:00There is a magic system in Pendragon fourth editio...There is a magic system in Pendragon fourth edition, as I recall (the one with Stonehenge on the cover). I remember it having a very strong theme, which would make it difficult to adapt, but it might fit well for a Changeling game; I don't know enough about the latter, or remember enough about the former, to say for certain.thekelvingreenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01928260185408072124noreply@blogger.com
