It's got the geographical flavour of somewhere in the South West of England, with names pilfered from the Matter of Britain. noismshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09933436762608669966noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2513019539869706574.post-91276440516160850982015-01-10T09:21:00.932+08:002015-01-10T09:21:00.932+08:00Sounds great. Vance's Lyonesse always sort of seemed like a D&D campaign anyway, so why not?

I'm interested in your maps... are you using a faux-Britain for Troia Nova? Or is it a unique fantasy world that sort of feels like a setting from Arthurian romance?Red Orchttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07015582577046093985noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2513019539869706574.post-67207285303254807292015-01-07T22:53:22.135+08:002015-01-07T22:53:22.135+08:00hear, hear! i really love wizard knight.hear, hear! i really love wizard knight.opossum101https://www.blogger.com/profile/14918781180223282882noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2513019539869706574.post-10648949447002787372015-01-07T18:49:49.174+08:002015-01-07T18:49:49.174+08:00Yes, exactly. I really like the idea of players trying to, as you put it, leverage location knowledge while at the same time potentially being screwed over by it thanks to random effects. noismshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09933436762608669966noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2513019539869706574.post-16603488516505605492015-01-07T18:49:02.382+08:002015-01-07T18:49:02.382+08:00Thanks - kind of you to say. Thanks - kind of you to say.noismshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09933436762608669966noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2513019539869706574.post-78237457030197485682015-01-07T15:56:15.893+08:002015-01-07T15:56:15.893+08:00I'd been hoping that we hadn't seen the la...I'd been hoping that we hadn't seen the last of New Troy.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2513019539869706574.post-4610526898728684282015-01-07T10:15:03.402+08:002015-01-07T10:15:03.402+08:00nice!
I'm a serious fan of the overlapping map...nice!
I'm a serious fan of the overlapping maps idea. Its got a solid grounding in fantasy fiction & myth, it gives you cool adventure complications for free as players try to leverage their location knowledge from one plane into tactical advantage in another plane (and lets you screw with them when things are not *quite* as they expect), AND it lets you recycle the same base maps as a feature not a bug.charles mark fergusonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13385121479729236749noreply@blogger.com
