Can't believe that joke hasn't been made before. Very Suin. I have ordered my lulu copy this evening. As soon as it arrives and I'm happy with it it will be released - I want the PDF and print version both available at the same time.
I think the audio needs work, though. Maybe you should go for more of an more eastern/indian background music, rather than European classical? Something haunting akin to the Mothra singers or ghost in a shell theme. Also, I think you need to get Werner Herzog to dramatically read snatches of the text in the background--that should be doable...
That would be perfect. "Attempting to be human but failing."
I chose the music specifically - it's "The Emperor's Sickroom", from "The Song of the Nightingale" by Stravinsky, which is a sort of imagining of a pseudo-Chinese story seen with European (Russian) eyes.
Thanks! Price are not absolutely confirmed but the PDF version will be in the region of £5, and a print version from lulu for, I think, around £11-12. The format is a little unusual (9" x 7" landscape) so lulu takes a big chunk out of that.
How Suin until it gets here?

Looks great. How will we be able to get hold of a copy and what price will the print version be?

DeleteI'm all in!
ReplyDeleteThanks. It's nice to know people will be reading this thing after all this time.
ReplyDeleteAfter six months of life passing since I last checked in, that this is nearly done brings me a palpable sense of excitement.
ReplyDeleteGreat. I'm really excited to get it out there.
