The Great North - Visual Delights

In the background, quietly, as my Yoon-Suin 2nd edition projects nears final fulfilment, work has been going on in relation to The Great North. Behold, some more glorious Tom Kilian art:

Not bad, eh?

  1. This looks fascinating. Is it inspired by any particular time period (Dark Ages/post-Roman, Norman, late Medieval)? Or does it draw from all eras of northern England?

    1. The idea is that it's to Northumberland what Yoon-Suin is to south Asia - like a dream-vision of the real thing. Kind of a mixture of eras up until the late medieval.

    2. I appreciate the dream-like quality of art! My favourites are the salamander(?) people as well as most of the cityscapes. The lack of colour emphasizes small details - fantasitc.
